Animal Event 2009..... |

A short report on our club participation with the Animal Event 2009 at Safari park Beekse Bergen on April 18 and 19. It was the second time we could promote the Thai breed as a club during this event and again this time our participation was a success. This year the weather was perfect and we were please with on the number of visitors. Overall it is a great event to look back on. As a club we grow and try to show and promote our breed during these events. The past 2 days visitors were genuinely interested in our booth and asked for information. Some visitors could even become future Thai owners. We were happy that two club members with their Thai participated during these days and hope to see more members with their Thai in the future. As a club we were very pleased to have a club member sharing his/ her experiences with the Thai breed to all the interested visitors at our booth. We had hoped to see more club members with their Thai, but there will always be next year. The visitors liked seeing the breed in person and experience the special Thai character themselves. What better way to do so by having members to bring their own Thai to such an event and to tell about their personal experiences? Think about what you would like to have experienced before getting your own Thai, which information was missing, or maybe you were given incorrect information when looking at your own Thai? It is also more fun to spend the day together as an advisory organ and it will leave a much better impression on the public to walk the procession with over 1 or 2 dogs. They are excited every time to watch the procession. So dear members and interested parties, lets go to 2010 and hopefully we can participate to everyone’s satisfaction at the next Animal Event together with you.
